At PRP Treatment Beverly Hills, a consultation with Dr. Nazarian is $450, and that fee is credited toward your first treatment. PRP sessions cost $800 to $1,200 depending on the area treated, PRF (platelet-rich fibrin) costs $1,100 to $1,500, and every treatment has a discounted 3-session package. Every treatment is performed by or under the direct supervision of Dr. Nazarian, and we draw 4 tubes of blood per session, more than many clinics use.

What the $450 consultation includes
- A comprehensive review of your symptoms, medical history and medications with Dr. Nazarian.
- An assessment of whether PRP or PRF is medically appropriate for you, and whether another treatment may be a better fit.
- A discussion of the expected benefits and the risks of PRP versus PRF versus other options, based on the current research.
- A personalized treatment plan with the number of sessions we recommend and the total cost.
If you go ahead with treatment, the $450 is credited toward your first session or package.
Why PRP prices vary from clinic to clinic
PRP prices differ widely, and the lowest price is not always the best value. Things to compare:
- How much blood is drawn and how much PRP you receive. We draw 4 tubes of blood per session and usually obtain 10 to 15 cc of platelet-rich plasma. Many clinics draw less.
- Who performs the treatment. At our clinic, treatment is performed by or under the direct supervision of Dr. Nazarian, a board-certified internist.
- Medical evaluation. As an internal medicine practice, we can look for other causes of your symptoms, such as thyroid, hormone or vitamin problems in hair loss, and treat them.
- The area treated. Joint injections and PRF preparations take more time and preparation, which is reflected in the price.
PRP vs PRF: why is PRF more expensive?
PRF (platelet-rich fibrin) is prepared with a slower spin and no anticoagulant, so it forms a fibrin matrix that may release growth factors more gradually. It takes more time to prepare and must be used quickly, which is why it costs more. Neither PRP nor PRF is right for everyone. Dr. Nazarian will explain the differences and the evidence for each at your consultation.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on the condition and how you respond. As a general guide:
- Hair loss: usually 3 sessions about 4 to 6 weeks apart, then maintenance every 6 to 12 months.
- Joints and tendons: 1 to 3 injections, with repeat treatment every 6 to 12 months if it helped.
- Under eyes and face: usually 2 to 3 sessions about a month apart.
- Stretch marks: usually 3 to 6 sessions 2 to 4 weeks apart.
- Erectile dysfunction: protocols vary; Dr. Nazarian will discuss the evidence, which is still limited, before recommending treatment.
Results vary from person to person, and no specific result can be guaranteed.

Is the consultation fee refundable?

Is PRP FDA-approved?
The devices used to prepare PRP are FDA-cleared, but most uses of PRP, including hair loss, joints and erectile dysfunction, are off-label. Dr. Nazarian will review the evidence and risks for your condition before treatment.
